Welcome to the Lausanne YLG Partnerships and Networks Landing Page!

This page is the landing page for Lausanne YLG Attendees who are interested in learning more about Kingdom Partnerships and Networks. It is hosted by Synergy Commons, a global learning community for Christian leaders wanting to learn how to build effective missions networks and partnerships.

Synergy Commons has created a private YLG discussion group and a collection of resources so we can continue the connections, further the conversations, and extend the learning that started in Jakarta. Below are next steps that will help you get started and connected!

Step One: Register

The YLG Discussion Group is a private area accessible only to registered users of the Synergy Commons. Registration is quick and free. We do not share your information. By registering, you will be able to access group discussions, resources, training courses, and webinars.

  • Sign up: Complete the Registration Form. If you have security concerns, use a username and display name that does not contain personal information. In your profile, mention that you attended the YLG.
  • Activate your Account: You will receive an activation email. Open and click the confirmation link.
  • Login: Go to the Synergy Commons home page to login. Be sure to check the Remember Me box to stay logged into the site. You can find the login link in the upper right corner of the home page.

Step Two: Introduce Yourself

Participating in the YLG Discussion Group is a key way to grow your connections, develop your skills, receive feedback and input on your challenges, and learn from each other. Get started now!

  • Join the YLG Discussion Group: From the main menu, click Community > Groups > Group Directory. Locate the YLG discussion group and click the “Request Membership” button. A group admin will give you access.

  • Explore the Synergy Commons Resources: Click the Resources link on the main menu bar. Scroll through the latest resources or browse by Resource Type or Resource Topic from the right-hand sidebar.

Step Four: Expand Your Connections

Connect with YLG attendees and global mission leaders. The best way to do this is to create a personal profile that provides as many key points of connection as possible.

  • Review your Personal Profile: Click on Community > Members > Member Directory. Click on your profile. Make sure it lists your country, a bit about your ministry, ministry, missions interests, and other information to help others learn about you.
  • Send Friend Requests: There is a member tab on the far right side of the group page. Click this tab to see a list of YLG group members. Click the Add Friend button to send a friend request.

We look forward to hosting you on the Commons! Please let us know what questions and challenges you face. We look forward to seeing you on the Commons and in the YLG Group Discussion!
