One Time Secret
Members of mission networks and partnerships often need to share private information with each other. And sometimes, that information can be very security-sensitive. But sharing sensitive information like passwords, contacts, or document links over email or chat is a bad idea.
One Time Secret is a simple tool that will allow you to keep that sensitive information out of your email or chat logs.
This service encrypts the information you want to give to your contact and then creates a temporary link which you can share. The key to this service (hence the name, One Time Secret) is that the link you share can only be viewed one time. After that, the link is deleted or “burned” and is no longer accessible.
For extra security, you can add a passphrase which must be entered to decrypt the shared information. You can also delete or “burn” your secret link at any time before it has been viewed. The code running One Time Secret is open source and can be installed on a web server you control.
