Summary
Building trust across cultures can be difficult. Still, it is vitally important; when individuals trust one another, they can work together effectively regardless of cultural differences. Based on 400+ interviews with leaders from America, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East, this research identified three key things that leaders do to build trusting relationships across different cultures.
- Have the right mindset
- Learn about their colleague’s background and culture
- Understand the importance of both character AND results
